Pacific Haven — Pacific Palisades LA, CA
A lush, park-like garden that extends the living space of the home creating a haven to enjoy with family and friends.
The design of the garden is supported by mature sycamore, olive, and oak trees. Paths meander from the entry courtyard in to the various garden seating nooks, sunken fire pit, pool, outdoor kitchen and dining area.
Designed for an expanding family, the sprawling park-like gardens reveal themselves as a series of outdoor rooms and destinations that maximize the opportunity to spend time outdoors and enjoy the extensive views of Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. The landscape design expands the home’s footprint and usable living spaces while honoring the original classic California Ranch Style architecture of Cliff May. The resulting private sanctuary was thoroughly enjoyed during the pandemic lockdown.
